                                        Naproxen Sodium in Rx Drugs


Naproxen sodium is an active ingredient in a number of OTC and prescription medications. Ask your doctor or pharmacist, or look at the information that you receive from the pharmacy to determine whether your prescription medicines contain naproxen sodium. 

Here are some — but not all — of the most common prescription drugs that contain naproxen/ naproxen sodium. 

  • Anaprox®

  • Anaprox DS®

  • EC-Naprosyn®

  • Naprelan®

  • Naprosyn®

  • Naproxen DR, Delayed or Controlled Release Tablets

  • Naproxen Suspension

  • Naproxen Tablets (at higher doses)

  • Prevacid Naprapac®

 

If you are taking any of these medicines you should not take any other products containing naproxen/naproxen sodium.
